Northcrest Window & Door Specialists was founded by Michael Holzman, a lifelong New Hampshire resident based in Derry. Before starting Northcrest, Michael spent years as a Design Consultant for a major national window replacement company — the kind of company you've probably had a salesperson from sitting at your kitchen table.
That experience is exactly why Northcrest exists.
From the inside, Michael saw how the industry actually works: three-hour in-home presentations designed to wear customers down. "Today-only" pricing that wasn't. One-size-fits-all product lines pushed on every home regardless of whether they were the right fit. Homeowners signing contracts in the moment, then calling the next morning with second thoughts.
He started Northcrest to build the opposite of that.

The right product for your home, not the only one we sell. Northcrest installs the full Andersen window lineup, patio doors , and ProVia entry doors. We match the product to the home and the budget — not to a commission structure.
Full-frame replacement, done right. We remove the entire existing unit, inspect and rebuild structure where needed, re-flash to current standards, and finish to a premium level. It's slower and more expensive than pocket replacement. It's also the only method that actually fixes what's wrong.
Local, owner-operated, and accountable. Michael is the person who shows up for your consultation, manages your project, and picks up the phone when you call. No call center, no regional manager, no hand-offs.
Who does the work
Michael's background is design and consultation — matching the right windows and doors to the right homes, and guiding homeowners through the decisions that matter. The installation itself is handled by vetted, experienced subcontractors who specialize in full-frame replacement. Michael manages every project from first consultation through final walkthrough, but the hands doing the installation belong to craftspeople who do this work every day.
This is a deliberate choice. It means you get a consultant who genuinely understands product and design, paired with installers whose only job is installing — not selling, not quoting, not managing. Each person focuses on what they do best.
